Using the Coffee Shop
The
Virtual Classrooms Coffee Shop provides a cyberplace you
can go to ask questions and exchange ideas, information, and
opinions with your classmates--and students in other sections of
the course. You never know, visiting economists (famous and
otherwise) might even drop in from time to time to take part in
the conversation.
The Coffee Shop is designed to promote discussion and sharing.
Here some ways you can use its resources to do that:
- Send e-mail (to your instructor and/or fellow students)
- Post to and read bulletin boards
- Participate in the on-line chat Room
- Sign or read the guestbook
- View frequently asked questions (FAQs)--or ask a question
yourself
- Provide comments/feedback
- Keep up with class news
To use The Coffee Shops resources,
- Click The
Coffee Shops icon on the Main Menu--or click
the highlighted link near the beginning of this sentence.
The Coffee Shop will appear, with this document on the
left side of the screen and an outline of the available
resources on the right side.
- From the outline on the right side of the screen, select
the resource you would like to use. Available options
will be underlined and highlighted using a different text
color.
