The DRI/McGraw Hill Dataset
The DRI Database contains about 6000 monthly, quarterly, and annual economic time series that date back to 1946 (for some variables) or the original data start date through 1999Q1. Data in this database consists of national-level information and is taken from various Federal agencies such as the Federal Reserve System, BEA, Census, and Labor Statistics. The data is usable through EViews. This Web page gives the variable names which EViews uses to create datafiles that are usabe in EViews, Excel, Word, etc.
