Places of Interest in South Korea


The capital city of South Korea is Seoul. Although it is 600 years old, Seoul is a modern and up to date city. It is home to millions of people and also sites like the Toksugung and the Kyongbokkung palaces.

Another place to visit is the Kyongju Area. Kyongju has been said to be a museum without walls. There are ancient monuments, temples, and tombs located throughout the area.

Cheju Island is a semi-tropical island that has many good sites to see. Mt Hallasan, the highest mountain in South Korea is located here. Waterfalls and Caves are also abundant.
