The New Building

The School of Business moved into the new building in early July 2009. There are still some small details being finished, but we look forward to seeing students this fall.

Our department office is in the NW corner (close to Pearson & the Psychology buildings). While our department office is on the second floor in the NW corner, all the School of Business professors are intermingled. Therefore we are providing you with a map of the building so that you can find professors more easily.

We kept our phone numbers when we moved, so hopefully that will make it a bit easier to find your professors.

On January 18, 2006 the Finance Department voted to delete the FIN2 and FIN3 thematic sequences. Any student currently enrolled in the sequences will be able to complete them.

The department also voted to limit access to the Risk Management and Insurance Minor and the Finance Minor to non-business majors only. If a student has two majors, one in and one out of the School of Business, the minor is not available to them.  Any student already registered for a Minor will be able to complete it.

These two measures will be implemented immediately.

Note: Whether you are a Finance major or not please make sure that you select and get admitted to a thematic sequence and/or minor as early as you can.   Departments limit the number of seats for each. Because of the limit or other criteria you may not be able to get into the minor or thematic sequence of your choice.
