Welcome to my home page! My name is Peregrin Took XII; my pack calls me Pippin. I am a male, black, standard poodle. I was born on August 26, 1993 at the home of Kimberly Ann Bryant in Dayton Ohio. My sire's name is M and M's Morky and my dame's name is Piccadilly's Lady Ariel. I live in Hamilton, Ohio with a pack consisting of two human beings an, Irish Water Spaniel and me.

What I love best is being with my pack. I experience considerable pack anxiety when left alone. Therefore I get to ride in the car a lot. After the car stops and the rest of the pack leaves to do whatever they are doing, I spend my time watching for their return. When at home I like to lie under the pack leader's desk while he works on his home page or does other stuff on the computer. One thing people like to say about me is that my nose gets me in trouble.  After we moved to Hamilton, the pack built me a special room in which to stay called Pippin's Poodle Palace.

During the spring of 1997, I participated in a family reunion called Dogfest.   Here I met the many dogs owned by various members of my family.  It was at Dogfest that my desire for obedience training was kindled.  So in the summer of 1997 my pack leader and I joined the Hamilton Dog Training Club.  Since then I have successfully completed Level I, Level II and Novice Level of training.  I am now enrolled in the Open class.   My desire is to earn a Companion Dog Excellent Certificate.

On October 3, 1998 I entered my first AKC sanctioned obedience trial in Hamilton, Ohio.   Not only did I qualify, I earned first place!   Then on October 6 I earned my Canine Good Citizen certificate.  On November 8, 1998 I entered the Novice A ring again and qualified, giving me my second leg toward my Companion Dog Certificate.  Finally on March 21, 1999 I earned my Companion Dog Certificate with another first place, this time at the Louisville Dog Show, the biggest in the nation.
