Ballyhoo's Junuh Bagger Vance

Home Page

Welcome to my home page!  My name is Bagger.  I am an Irish Water Spaniel.  I was born on January 14, 2005 in Andover, Massachusetts.  Today I live in Hamilton, Ohio with a pack consisting of two human beings and myself.  My best dog buddy, Pippin, crossed over the rainbow bridge in May 2007.

My pack describes me as rambunctious.  I am taking dog training classes at the Hamilton Dog Training Club where I am learning to compete in both obedience and rally.  On February 17, 2007 I entered the Novice B obedience ring for the first time and qualified.  My next show was on March 9-11, 2007.  I qualified twice and earned my AKC Companion Dog title.  I then proceeded to train for my CDX and for rally.  During the weekend of October 3-4, 2008 I earned two legs toward each title and also finished in second place four times out of four attempts.  That weekend was literally a red letter event for me.  On November 8, 2008 I got my Rally Novice title and on November 9, 2008 I got my Companion Dog Excellent title with a third place.

Here is a summary of my shows.  I love to swim and walk in the woods.  I also love playing with tennis balls.

The Irish Water Spaniel is an ancient and noble breed.  Here is an excerpt about water spaniels my pack leader found in an old book.  There is also a picture of one of my ancestors.  Visit the Ballyhoo web page to get more information on my heritage.
