Great Summer Study Abroad Program in Asia! (All majors welcome)

• Global curriculum with rich culture/language classes taught in English. Over 30 business and econ classes. No Japanese language skill is required.

 

• Modern campus and dorm. Study with a few thousands international students!

 

• Credit hours of classes taken at Kansai Gaidai are transferable to Miami as graduation credit hours. Depending on a course taken, you can apply for course equivalency and self-thematic sequence. See the Ms. Kim (9-1712) at Room 103 Laws for forms and referrals.

 

• Easy access to Kyoto (old capital)  and Osaka, Japan

 

• Exchange students need to pay tuition to Miami. Existing scholarships or tuition waive at Miami can be continued to be used for the study abroad semesters at kansai Gaidai.

 

• An accepted student can apply for study abroad scholarships, including University Airfare Support ($600-any need), FSB Need Scholarship, Higgin Kim Asia Program Scholarship, and other national level scholarships, for help with Miami tuition and other travel expense. .

 

• Students interested in intensive Japanese language program can visit Professor Ono, Mieko at GREAL department for help.
