- If accepted, a student can take classes (50-60 classes available) spoken in English as a full time student at Yonsei University, Wonju, one of the most beautiful campuses in Asia. Students can apply for one semester or one academic year. The Yonsei-Wonju campus is located 1/2 hour away from a ski slope and 1 hour away from the east coast.
- Credit hours of classes taken at Yonsei are transferable to Miami as graduation credit hours. Depending on Yonsei courses taken, you can apply for course equivalency and self-thematic sequence. See Ms. Jing Liu (9-1712) in 1022 FSB for forms.
- Yonsei Global Village (GV) English-teaching financial aid of 3,000,000 Korean Won (approx. US $3,000) for travel and living expenses. In addition, lodging will be provided free at the Yonsei's Global Village dormitory during semester(s).
- An exchange student needs to pay tuition to Miami. Existing scholarships or tuition waive at Miami can be continued to be used for the study abroad semesters at Yonsei.
- An accepted student can apply for study abroad scholarships, including University Airfare Support ($600-any need), FSB Need Scholarship, Higgin Kim Asia Program Scholarship, and other national level scholarships, for help with Miami tuition and other travel expense.

- Yonsei Global Village Program also offers free cultural field trips to make your Korea visit more fun and memorable.
- Numerous inexpensive short/weekend trips available from Seoul to neighboring countries, such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, etc., with flight times of only 1.5-4 hours! Students often visit China, Japan, and/or Hong Kong during the study period.
